Overview
About Me
Hello beautiful people,
– ABOUT ME –
My name’s Esat. I’m 30 years old, born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. I’m half Serbian, half Turkish… and these days, probably half Indonesian too (even though I don’t have any Indonesian DNA).
I lived in Istanbul until university, then moved to Edirne - a small city in the northwest of Turkey. Right now, I’m living in Bali, running a Airbnb back in Istanbul while chasing sunsets and new stories here in Indonesia.
– INTERESTS –
I’m deeply passionate about tattoos, both getting them and designing them. My body is basically an unfinished canvas, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop adding more ink.
I love photography, especially capturing random, unplanned moments like people, streets, details that most don’t notice.
Meeting new people, sharing stories, and practicing English together are things that genuinely make me happy.
And before I forget, one of my biggest dreams is to explore every single province of Indonesia. I’ve already made it through Sumatra, Java, Bali, Sulawesi, Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, and Papua… but for me, that’s still not enough. There’s always another island waiting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All kind of reggae and hip-hop.
National and international rock, the old classics like Pink Floyd, Queen, The Beatles, and so on. I also enjoy some local Turkish hiphop :)
Fantastic movies of all kinds.
Spartacus, Game of Thrones, Prison break, Breaking Bad and more were amazing to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve lived in Istanbul for 20 years, a massive city with nearly 30 million people and endless chaos.
Let’s just say I’ve had more than enough of big city life, haha.
But if I stop joking, spending time with almost untouched tribes in West Papua completely changed something in me.
It was definitely one of the most humbling stuff entire my life.

For hosts:
Friendly discussion on any subject. I'm pretty easy-going. Just communicate your house rules. If you have house pets, please inform me in advance. I love cats but wild animals like snakes, crocodiles and iguanas scare me away!
For guests:
The sky is the limit :) we can party, cook and drink.
We can go around the city, get drunk and back to home.
