Hello my name is Eric Mortensen! I am very easy to get along with. I have been told that I am a funny person, but sometimes I'm not sure if I make people laugh for other reasons than that... I am not your customary American. I try to have genuine and meaningful friendships with those who I care about. I am very active and outgoing. I live life with an open mind, and without labels.

I want to explore the entire world so that I have stories to tell to my grandchildren.

I love history, culture, and geography. I play many sports. I am a guy, so of course I love food. Travelling is my newest hobby ;].

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Northern Lights for the first time in August 2012 and they were simply amazing - I cannot wait for them in the Winter.

When I was a teenager, lightning struck a tree ~200 meters away from where I was at. It was scary but beautiful at the same time. So much power.
