Hey Everyone!

I'm Esen from Istanbul, currently traveling through South East Asia, sometimes on a bike and mostly filming people who are on a bike.

I graduated from photography and video and work as an interdisciplinary designer, saving up to travel around the world.

My couchsurfing journey started 6 years ago when I did my first solo tour around Europe and since then I choose no other way of accommodation. Mainly because having the chance to meet with locals and have them share their idea of the place blending with mine is such a unique experience. I also think hosting allows one to stay a tourist to the place they live, something we all need to maintain in order to keep our eyes open to beauty around us.

I love exercising, cycling and hiking. Anything that works the body works the mind. I also am an avid bookworm and cinephile so I would love to discuss world cinema and books from many genres with you. I love cooking (and more so eating) and being Turkish I can teach you some nice mezes and kebabs :)

Getting into ice old water in Copenhagen (bare naked) with tourists peacefully tried to enjoy the view. Not sure if it was amazing for them though.
