About Me

Enjoying life as happy as possible while share anything I could share to others.

I work as an editor in chief for Fantasious Books, one of publisher in Jakarta, Indonesia. One of our work in translating A Game of Thrones series into Indonesian edition. One of the biggest and hardest project in my entire career. Like, who want to missed-translating what Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow said? 😄

In my spare time I write politician biography for newspaper or traveling articles for several magazine. Im an easy going and flexible person, and have a big interest of knowing a new culture and new people.

I also wrote several books in Indonesian language, the topic are mostly about woman self help, traveling, and investigation.

I also running out my online bookshops home-base, yeah its like a warming up to open the real one someday.

Hope that we can meet alot of new people with their lovely cultures. Im a tea lover and she is a coffee addict, I will become your baristea and she will become your barista in the house 😊

Just try to do our best, share alot and help alot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling for me is not just visiting one place or another, capture the best shot and go back home. Traveling is a life journey, not only to see a new place, but also to feel new experience, in touch with locals, and share anything we could share.

I got alot of good friends from CS. I'd learned alot of experiences either. I always believe that the world is to big to live alone and to know just one place.

Book is my biggest interest, I loved to read, write, and collecting books, especially fiction, comics, and historical books. But, no, Im not that kind of nerd-bookworm-weirdo-in-glasses like sometimes you watch on movie, that kind of bookworm doesnt really exist in real life :D My others interest is martial art. I used to teach woman self defense around Indonesia. Now im start enjoying yoga for my sport. Im a teaholic and start collecting teas from all over the world.

My personal taste of music are jazz, soul, Britpop, r&b or something enchanted for my ear and heart. Somethings like:
- Incognito
- Jamie Cullum
- Hindi Zahra
- Maliq and d'essentials
- John Legend
- Alicia Keys
- Selah Sue
- Olafur Arnalds
- Oasis
- Norah Jones
- Jay Park

I like to brows on Youtube, looking for movies from all over the world because its another way to know other cultures. But yeah I like kind of historical movies or easy drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching women self defense around Indonesia. It was such a meanfull traveling trip for me and I would like to repeat it again this year.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Indonesian traditional martial art (pencak silat), women self defense, Indonesian culture, Indonesian and javanese languange, Indonesian cuisine, Indonesian songs.

Learn: others place culture and language

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want to learn some tricks about woman self defense or Indonesian martial art, I could teach you the basic and intermediate. I'm a book's person, I talk about book like I talk about myself, so if you have a curiosity about how books industry in Indonesia and Asia actually work, I could share with you. Im also write traveling articles for several magazine in Indonesia such as National Geographic Traveler etc, so I guess I could share alot about my lovely tropical country. And you give me permition to use your kitchen, I could serve you cup of warm tea with a little bit of magical touch :)
