To explore new things and surround ourselves with interesting, unique and like minded people. Happiness is (or in a travellers case, experiences are) only real when shared.

ABOUT ME

- We're a couple, so we're looking to stay with people that are ok with that. Above all, we don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

- We're crazy about animals; so if you have pets, yay!

- A bottle of wine & cheese with a group of friends sounds like a great night. Going out to enjoy the local haunts & meeting new people sounds just as good.

- We're interested in seeing both historical & contemporary aspects of each place we visit, & seeing the country from a local's perspective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're looking for awesome people to stay with throughout Europe :) & once we return home, we'd love to return the favour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're totally new to the couch surfing world. This trip will be our first experience as backpackers... however we've both spent a lot of time sleeping on friends' couches, while their parents or housemates were cooking something interesting for dinner :P Does that count?

Interests

Picnics, red wine, exploring places by foot, meeting unique people, dancing, a variety of good music, films, languages (that we can't speak :P), animals, ruins, parties, local street food, new experiences... etc etc etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Esh has no favourites! She's so indecisive, & likes a bit of everything. It's very frustrating!!!

Ally has TOO many favourites - can't possibly list them all.

I think that describes us perfectly; we're a balancing act.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Esh: Resuscitated a person from a drug overdose. I supported his airway and provided oxygen, watching as his skin turn from gray to blue and finally to a fleshy pink. I don't think it counts as something amazing that I did, but it was definitely something amazing that I saw. I wish I could know how he's doing now.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're both well versed in emergency pre-hospital care, however let's hope we don't have to apply that knowledge on our trip! Esh speaks Hebrew... but Ally's sadly still mono-linguistic. We're both pretty decent at dancing, even if we do look a bit silly at times. Ally is an avid horse rider (western style though, i.e. in line with Pat Parelli & Monte Roberts). & I guess we can teach you about Aussie culture - of which there is very little to be honest :P
