ABOUT ME

I have just returned from living in Scotland for the past four years where I was studying Arabic and IR for my undergrad. Currently living in Istanbul where I am teaching English. I want to travel all over the world, live in all different types of places, and meet as many people as possible

Interests

I like having a good time with friends and meeting new people. I like to play tennis and cricket, and I am learning to play the guitar at the moment. I love traveling to different places and learning new languages.

Music: Wilco, Jenny Lewis, The Band, The Beatles, Radiohead, Peter Bjorn & John, Fleet Foxes, Interpol, Beirut, Lake Street Dive.

Movies: The Last Waltz and pretty much anything else! I'm pretty easily entertained even if it is a bad film I'm sure I can find something funny about it.

Books: Currently reading Italo Calvino's 'If on a winters night a traveler'

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an open-minded and easy-going person. Willing to talk (or debate) about any subject without judgement. I could also teach some Arabic to my host or English (I am a certified TEFL teacher.)
