About Me
Hey there! We’re Esin and Amir: a couple who loves meeting new people, sharing stories, and experiencing places through the eyes of locals.
I'm Turkish-American, and Amir is Iranian-British, though he grew up in Belgium. We’re both fluent in English. I also speak Spanish and a bit of Chinese, and Amir speaks Dutch and Persian too.
We’re easygoing, respectful, and genuinely enjoy getting to know people. Amir is definitely the more outgoing one; he somehow always ends up making friends with strangers on trains, in cafés, basically everywhere. I’m a bit quieter, but I love deep conversations and hearing about people’s lives and perspectives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love the idea of connecting with people in a more real and personal way while traveling. Hotels and Airbnbs can feel a bit isolating; Couchsurfing feels like the opposite. It’s not just about saving money, it’s about sharing space, stories, and small moments with people we wouldn’t meet otherwise.
Some of our best travel memories have come from unexpected conversations or small acts of kindness, and we’re hoping to have more of those through this community :)

Teach, Learn, Share
World domination. But in a chill, friendly way. Maybe over tea.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, real conversations, and a curious mindset.
We can share stories, laughs, a few language tidbits, and an overall good vibe. We've been told that we're great at making people feel at ease, so... there's that.
Guaranteed 0% drama. 100% appreciation :)
