ABOUT ME

ıt is really hard for a person to describe her/himself, but I would like to define myself as citizen of the world. I am a lively person, I would like to visit and see new places. I love traveling, meeting new people from all over the world, exchange ideas, have great time and also I love MATHS :)
I born in Soma, Manisa, the town that had a terrible mine disaster on May, 2014. Thank God we don't have any relatives passing out but still all of them were humanbeings :(
Anyway, let's talk about good things,I have been living in İstanbul for 12 years, came here to study university, and I have a huge crash on this wonderful city, which is the best for me :)
I graduated from Marmara University, my major is Teaching Mathematics. Last year I finished my MSc on Mathematics Education and this month, June, 2014 I got accepted to do my doctorate in the same major. I am working as a teacher for about 6 years in a public high school in Sancaktepe, İstanbul. I love teaching and I love Maths!

I have been travelling since I was in my mommy's womb :)My family infected me this hobby. we travelled almost all regions of Turkey. You know my country has many many places to be seen. In every holidays we packed our bags and set off on a journey. My father used to have friends at these towns and they hosted us. Actually, we had the spirit of CS unawares :)
When I grow up, I decided to go on travelling by myself, or with friends for more fun, and also our family enlarged so we couldn't fit into one car :) I have been to USA in 2011 summer. I went there by Work&Travel programme. It was awesome! I have worked at Mc Donalds for 4 months as a coffie maker, I must admit that it was a hard job. Then after working I travelled the east coast with my friends by hitchiking for about 1 month. Wonderful adventures, amazing cities!! I made lots of friends and some of them came to Istanbul and we hang out together in Turkey.
Last summer, 2013, me and my 3 friends travelled east Europe, Wien, Budapest, Prague and Bratislava, with a guided tour. But we used the tour only for transporting, and explored landmarks by ourselves because otherwise we wouldn't live the spirit of the cities.
This September, 2013, I have won a grant from my national agency within Comenius Programme, I participated in a teacher training course in Exeter, UK for 1 month. Before and after this course I travelled London totally 10 days. I started this trip alone but finished with 3 other friends :) They were also traveller students. We had great time and very interesting memories in London :)

PHILOSOPHY

Buy a house and pay credit for 10 years, work hard, stay strong, be a man that your government wants you to be, dont question, say yes, let yourself to be controlled.. so what are these all for? There is a life going on another parts of the world. There are good people to meet, places to see, cultures to live, conversations to hold, hands to be shaked and nice people to be appreciated.

In my opinion couchsurfing is not only giving a place to sleep but also travelling and learning about the new cultures and different life styles.

兴趣

I like to make new friends and see new cultures,travel to uncommon destinations.
I have a Yoga group and we are practising Yoga 2 days in a week. Also I do Yoga every morning by myself. It makes me feel better and purges my soul!!
I love watching Tango, Bachata shows, and want to learn soon ;)
