Currently based in Thessaloniki, Greece - I cycled here from the UK two years ago and kinda never left... partly due to covid/partly because it's bloody lovely here. I've been working with an NGO here and teaching English online to pay the rent.

I also produce a radio show here called "Journeys: Into Europe" sharing the stories of people who have left their homeland, attempting to reach Europe (https://www.reformradio.co.uk/residents/journeys-into-europe/).

I used CS a couple of times for my cycling trip through Europe but mostly used Warmshowers (CS for cycle tourists) and met so many amazing people. I'd love to return the favour to all those generous and hospitable people, so, I can offer my sofa bed and try to return the hospitality. I do however teach online from home most days so kinda need the room free from morning until the afternoon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting locals - I've had amazing experiences on here and Warmshowers (and quite frankly can't afford to pay for accommodation). I also like showing people around wherever I'm living so will happily host people when I can!
