ABOUT ME

What can I say? At the moment I work in an analytical lab, it's ok but I am definitely looking to do something grander with my life. I like to chill at my house, play in the ocean and I am a beer connoisseur. I am a thinker and a listener, not much of a talker.
Moved to Hawaii when I was 18 after high school and have never regretted that. Went to art school for high school, and then boldly switched to Marine Biology. Not much thought behind it at the time, but Hawaii sounded pretty nice, and my higher education choices in Sweden was somewhat limited (due to the choice of high school). However, it all worked out as it almost always does and I am still here, trying to become somewhat of an American (Hawaiian more precisely).
I have been traveling some after I graduated from college, mostly around Europe, and now lastly with my man to places in Europe (again) and some of South East Asia. Loved it and would love to go back, but need to make some money first.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was younger I worked in the elderly care in Sweden, and saw too many old men and women bitter over the way their lives turned out for all kinds of reasons. Therefore I try to live my life without any regrets when it comes to major things such as, where to live (place, not house), trips, money, career, etc. I try not to settle for anything less, because that would suck.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been consciously surfing couches in Switzerland and Malaysia, and before I ever heard of this project I would go places and stay with friends and friends of friends. I have also hanged out with people coming to stay with my friends who have been signed up for way longer than me.

兴趣

The ocean. Nature. Beer. Photography (broke three cameras in the last nine months). Exploring (anything). Meeting new people who are cool.
