Well, I guess that I might be what people think is a typical Finnish guy. Short, blond, not the chattiest person alive but surely friendly, reliable and easy-going. Being a biologist by education, nature and all the wonderful phenomena of it are dear to me.

Interests

Activities in the wild, like fishing, bird-watching and picking mushrooms. I also like taking a camera with me when going. I do athletich (jogging, cross-country skiing) regurally. When not outdoors I like reading, playing guitar (poorly) and keeping company with our pets (guinea pigs and cats, two each). Beer culture has been my passion for several years, as I love tasting & rating commercial beer and brewing pretty well myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies, music and books, you always must have a good idea, lots of heart and some balls. I might for example watch documentaries, dramas as well as comedies, listen to punk, blues or reggea and read about anything from yeast cells to love stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

As Finnish nature is my biggest inspiration and favourite surroundings, I might have some experiences to share. Show places & pictures, tell stories or cook a local fish dish etc. It also works another way around: take me into your magic forest or at least tell me about it!

I haven't been travelling that much but I've always been interested in foreign culture and history. You could propably enlight me on your people and homeland.

I happen know something about beer, so I'm a pretty good beer/barguide :)
