We prefer to host for two nights or more. That gives us a great opportunity to get to know our guests.

WHO ARE WE?
We are partners and live together with Espen's dog Kayak. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world, and couchsurfing allows us to do so by getting to know their lives, cultures and lifestyles. We both love to travel and experience the world, it's sights and the people living in it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best travel experiences we've had always involved local people. You learn from them, and you share with them. The same goes with our experience with hosting. We couldn't be more grateful with the people we've met on here.

Interests

Espen: Number 1 passion is travelling. Food and series.

Karsten: Travel, games, Arsenal fan, series and obviously music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: 60-80s music, disco, dance, lounge, chillout, reggaeton, salsa, latin, italian and french.

Books: Harry Potter, Tolkien, Agatha Christie, Dan Brown and Stieg Larsson.

Movies/series: Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Shannara, Star Wars, StarTrek, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Scream, Scream series, Gotham, House of Cards, Sherlock, Broadchurch, Desperate Housewives and last, but not least Modern Family. In fact, we say we are a mix of Mitch, Cameron, Gloria and Claire!!

Teach, Learn, Share

We love food and we like to be creative in the kitchen. Making food is one of those things in life that matches the saying: "the more we know, the less we know". We would love to learn how to make some traditional food from your country or from any other place. Thus, make sure to add food in your message if we are to host you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can offer a lofty view in 3 directions over Oslo from our 9th floor flat, a couch (and sometimes a spare room). We live by the motto: "Mi casa es su casa" :-)
