I'm a politics student (almost a politics graduate!) who loves traveling. I try to visit at least three new countries every year. Last year I visited Moldova, Ukraine, Belgium and Morocco. This year I've already visited Spain (next new destination will most likely be Norway!)

I will be in Glasgow until mid-July, so might be able to host you before that!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet interesting people. I have only surfed once, but my flatmate (Pernilla, you can find her profile on my friends' list) and I have hosted quite a few couchsurfers and always enjoy having a meal together and hearing people's impressions about Glasgow!

Some of my favorite movies are Some Like It Hot, Goodbye Lenin, The Intouchables and Departures. My favorite actors are possibly Kate Winslet and Javier Bardem. I like watching documentaries about almost anything. For a short period of time I was addicted to The Bachelor (Finnish version).

Algo increíble que he hecho

Moving to Portugal without knowing a single word of Portuguese. It was scary and fun and exciting - so hey! I did it again and moved to France, even though I can't speak French!

(To be honest, moving to Glasgow without knowing Glaswegian was also a slightly terrifying experience!!!! Moved here in 2012 and I still struggle with understanding the taxi drivers and I'm proper scared of talking on the phone with Glaswegians!!! HELP!!!)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I have worked as a Finnish and English teacher, even though most of my students have been under 4 years old. To be honest, some of them could not even speak yet, so I am not sure if I am any good at teaching. I can still try.
