A laid back person that was born and raised in Colombia and moved to Canada 10 years ago, currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. I consider both countries my home and each of them with their own beauty have allowed me to meet tons of beautiful and exciting people throughout the years.

I enjoy travelling a lot, and even though I have not been able to do as much as I would have liked, the few experiences I have had until now have been incredible. Furthermore, I consider myself an outdoor person that has a special love for football (watching it, playing it, talking about it), playing squash and biking. Some of my favourite hobbies are camping, hiking, playing video games and just spending quality time with friends and family.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Currently (as of August 2016) I am on the verge of moving to Iceland for a couple of years to do a Masters in Geophysics. Personally, I have never had the opportunity to couchsurf before, or to be a host to a couchsurfer, but a close friend of mine does and I have heard very positive reviews from him about it.

I have met some of the people that he has hosted and they have all been amazing, friendly and interesting to say the least. I think is a great resource that every traveller should try out sooner rather than later.

I enjoy different kind of music, but if I had to choose one I would go with Spanish Rock. Bands and artist from back home such as Juanes, Dr Krapula, Aterciopelados, Sanalejo, Bacilos. Also, other latin-american greats such as Fito Paez, Andres Calamaro, Molotov, Rata Blanca, Kameleba, and many more.

In other words, I really like supporting Latin-American music! :D

Movies I really like are the fiction/fantasy type of movies such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Constantine. Also, another personal favourites are Horror/suspense movies.

Books....not a huge reading person but I have had a few really good reads in some of Gabriel Garcia Marquez novels.

mmmm I have done a few I would consider amazing, but one I really enjoyed and taught me a lot would be my volunteering experience in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador.

Learn, lots of stuff. Life is full of learning experiences,so every moment has to be accounted for! Currently, I am trying to learn to play tennis, and in my free time how to code in python if that counts.
