Overview
About Me
I'm a Polish-Canadian classical violinist who has one feet in North America and another in Europe.
I've been told I have a butterfly nature. I truly feel at home almost anywhere in the world, I love to form deep friendships and am drawn to beauty in all its forms, nature, art, music, animals, moments, personalities.
Being a classical musician means I'm never done learning my craft, it's also not an easy and straightforward path, nonetheless it is definitely a calling, I love both the process of growing every day and experience of giving on stage.
My three big loves are people, music and traveling. Plus, always happy to learn new things, have stimulating conversations, think outside the box and make magic moments happen!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started to couchsurf as a discovery-adventure hungry 18 year old, almost 10 years ago! I'm so grateful for almost all my CS experiences, it added a total different dimension to travelling and getting to know the real essence of a place. It's beautiful what strangers can share and give in a short time! In some places I returned to, the CS connection turned into friendship and that is amazing!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It depends on the mood and circumstances! Naturally classical music is the one I find myself more often diving into and exploring. Russian music pulls strong at my heartstrings, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Borodin.
Movies: Audrey Hepburn classics, Pixar, Dreamworks, Miyazaki animated films, Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, My name is Khan, Bondarchuk's War and Peace, was a fan of the big trilogies Godfather, Star Wars, LOTR. Would like to see more films of Tarkovsky, Bergman, Antonioni, Fellini, Truffaut.
Books: Tolstoy, Dostoievsky, Garcia Marquez, Tolkien, Kundera, Coehlo, Lindgren, Montgomery, Tolle, Chopra, Gibran. I have a bit of addictive reading nature!
