Overview
About Me
I'm a dreamy girl who loves to see the world. I would describe myself as honest, reliable, creative, interested in people and nature. I love to dance, it is a way to express my feelings. I am also a lot into books, my favorite ones change all the time ;)
It is my dream to become a writer or maybe a journalist. Getting paid for traveling the world, meeting new people and writing articles about my experiences - that sounds like heaven to me :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use this website for meeting new people all over the world - and because it is so much more fun and more interesting to stay with locals than at a hostel / hotel :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to listen to Bollywood Music, it animates me to dance :D Generally, I like music with good lyrics that have a meaning to me. I like Xavier Naidoo, Mark Forster, Curse ...
My favorite books changes all the time ... right now I am reading "The Physician" by Noah Gordon. When I was younger I used to read a lot of fantasy books and I liked to be absorbed by the different world that was presented to me by those books. Now I am more into realistic / historic books and books with a philosophical / psychological touch.
I don't watch movies often but without shame I confess that "Eat, Pray, Love" is definitely a movie I don't get tired of watching.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best decisions in my life was to spend 6 months in New Delhi, India after I graduated high school.
It was not easy at first, as I was very culture shocked but the feeling of pride you get when you ride a metro alone for the first time is priceless.
I learned a lot about myself in these six months, first of all that there are friendly people wherever you go and secondly that it is easier for me to adapt to new situations and surroundings than I thought.
I worked as a volunteer for a NGO in South-Delhi. I still remember the good times I had with the children there. The NGO made sure the kids had enough food and could go to school. I and other volunteers and local teachers helped the kids with their homework or played with the younger ones.
