I am on Couchsurfing because the concept is really nice and make it easier to meet local people and get an unique experience from a country.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In 2016, I was in Bali with one of my best friends. We wanted to climb the Mount Batur, like everybody do as it's easy and very touristic, but I also wanted to do something different from the others. So when we arrived in Ubud, I asked a guide for the Mount Agung. But I didn't really make researches about it. Turned out that it was 3000m altitude and that the half of the hiking was almost only climbing. People who do this mount generally trained before or are already like expert in hiking.
It took us 10 hours (go and back), 2 nerve crisis and blisters on our feet to make it. But I don't regret, we were above the clouds and the view on the rising sun was just amazing, I will never forget this moment.
