About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Exploring South America

ABOUT ME
Sporty, energic, need to be constantly in action. I'm a physio/physical therapist during the week days & saleswoman on markets on week-ends for an organic fruits & vegetables producer. I also currently study equine body worker, which basically consists in massaging horses.

I'm sporty : ballet, Irish Dance, martial arts ... I'm also a huge fan of outdoors activities : rock climbing, horse riding, kayaking, hiking, scuba diving ... The tough thing when you're an adult is to choose.

My second main occupation is travelling... I discovered Brazil last summer & met wonderful people from all over the continent, just confirmed my project = spending a year in Chile (& exploring the surrounding countries).

I'm easy going, friendly and stubborn, so when I want something I do everything I can to succeed (mostly if I need long holidays I find the way to do it).

PHILOSOPHY
I'm letting life guiding me constantly on new ways, we're 7 billions on Earth, there is so much to do or discover that ideas come to my mind all the time. Every path I follow, kind of raise my up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had the opportunity to host a few people when I was in Paris, nice helping people exploring the city & guide them through paths others wouldn't discover. It was also interesting to find out about places of their interests. But then I found myself too busy to host properly and my last experience, turned into some sort of untimely mailing afterward, so I stopped.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started in New Zealand, then the Cook Islands and finally in Hong Kong in a 2months period. All of those experiences were incredible, I'm grateful towards my hosts who clearly improved my experience. This way of sharing a place to sleep, to meet et to exchange makes the all trip so much more memorable.

Interests

Sports clearly : ballet, rock climbing, surfing, horse riding ...
Then languages which necessarily goes with travelling, unfortunately I can't find enough free time to learn more lately.
For the past 3years, I've been spending a lot of time to learn more about alternative medecine, nutrition, such a broad and interesting subjects.
Reading : it helps me travelling through my imagination, thanks to the suggested world along the pages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too long list, but anyway my favorite movie is surely The Last of the Mohicans.
I've just started reading Between The World And Me, of Ta-Nehisi Coates, incredibly well-written, a really bright eye. So now I wanna read his previous book The Beautiful Struggle.
For music it's too broad to describe, the music I'm listening to depends of the moment I'm in, my feelings, my mood...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Discovering a bit of every continent in the world, which taught me a lot about a nice range of culture and history. Meeting lovely people along the way that changed me forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing is an amaizing experience when two strangers meet in a personnal and unique context. I've been hosted by amaizing people who welcomed me into their home openly and warmly. I like this genuine trust that settles right away, after talking for an hour you feel like you've known each ours for ages.

The exchange goes beyond tips and tricks for your trip, it's the thing which turn this part of your trip memorable, your experience of the location is completed by the social bond to it.

An experience not to miss!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have topics that I absolutely like to discuss, I like to let the conversation go random.
Of course I'm curious about the culture, what I should not miss..., but I'm opened minded to any subjects.
