About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling the world to have fun, discover more about life, eat some great food and meet some amazing people.

ABOUT ME

I'm curious and passionate about the world and people. I really want to do good and educate myself sufficiently to be informed about the world. I'm easygoing and look at travel as an essential part of living and education. It's also a good opportunity to have a blast, see some incredible things, eat lots of tasty food and meet some fantastic people.

PHILOSOPHY

To help others and make the world a better place, however, this can only be done if I enjoy myself in the process. I think the meaning of life is to be happy and create further happiness. I don't belong to any religion though.

Music, Movies, and Books

Kartography be Kamila Shamsie, In the Kitchen and Brick Lane by Monica Ali, On Beauty by Zadie Smith, Alexander McCall Smith books are good too as are ones by Kasuo Ishiguru (I've spelt his name wrong), Vikram Seth, Peter Carey and Ian McEwan. I like Hugh grant romcoms, Volver, eat, pray, love, Inception. I like Katie Melua, Hayley Westenra, Alicia Keyes, Puccini, The Smiths, Stone roses, Beatles, Supertramp, T-rex, Lou Reed etc...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a qualified ABA tutor for children/young adults with Austim, also very experienced childcarer ( over 10 years experience). I'm fluent (just about!) in Spanish and English and also have a good knowledge of French and Portuguese. I'd like to learn Mandarin and improve my other languages. I can teach early years education, English literature, voice, piano and violin. I am looking for places to perform (singing and acting/pianobar music?) on my travels too.
