About Me

Right now: I'm traveling for three months. Yay!
I'm curious about so much in this world, so I rarely run out of things to do and ask and try. Normally, I work part time in science and part time in therapy. I have lived in Munich for about ten years and will keep doing so after my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just finished my final studies, so now I'm free and traveling for the next three months. I'll be traveling in Nepal and the Philippines, sometimes with others, sometimes alone. I love to meet people and while I've been on Couchsurfing for a while, I didn't get to travel as much as I'd like in the past few years. This is about to change and I'm looking forward to encountering a bunch of fascinating people! Since you usually experience so much more of a place when you meet people who actually live there I'd be thrilled to meet some of you guys, hang out and hear about your lives, no matter whether you have a couch or not!

Interests

A lot of things in the world are interesting to me, but the top of the list is tagged here. I sing in choir and I am passionate about music on the whole. I love to join with others to make music, and listen to it as well, particularly live concerts if I can make it. It would be awesome if you were at all into music and could maybe show me some of your favourites. Losing myself in a fascinating book or movie makes me happy. I'm political and take an interest in social and ecological matters. I really like to be outdoors to go for hikes (the mountains are kind of close here) or go cycling. I love a good drink and good food, so joining with my friends to cook or go out is amazing. Well. I really like a lot of things, with the notable exception of sports on tv. That is completely lost on me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Strong voices, well played instruments, interesting rhythms, clever lyrics, and I really like complex and beautiful harmonies. I'm not a fan of genres since there's beauty in so many different ones, but I guess the largest share of what I listen to is somehow related to rock, jazz, singer-songwriter stuff like blues or folk and, mostly for singing but also to listen to concerts, classical stuff.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm stil puzzled by this category. There's talking and attention and interest towards each other. And of course there's music and food (I'm usually happy to cook, that's lovely to do) and just generally sharing each other's time.
