I'm someone who prefers the outdoors if asked to choose between an indoor vs outdoor activity, but I don't sulk if I have to stay within the confines of four walls. I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures, convictions and quirks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept in basements and in a tatami room of a traditional Japanese home. Being a part of a family during those visits, to Chicago and Yokohama respectively, were the best memories I had of the cities.

兴趣

New thoughts and ideas that challenge my existing knowledge, and learning a new skill. It can be as simple as learning a new phrase in a different language, or picking a new skill, say in rock-climbing. I play the ukulele, crochet, and am attempting to be a better badminton player.

Attending a wedding in Bikaner in India. The hospitality, food and colors were out-of-this-world.
Meeting aids-impacted children in China on a community trip. It was very humbling.
