About Me

My work requires me to do evening and nightshifts so I am not always available for hosting in periods with lots of shifts.

I love to travel and meet new people. I like places that have lots of nature and lots of history.
I'm very enthusiastic, curious and easy-going. I'm not really a party person (I don't go out till 03.00 am) but I do like a social evening.

I have 2 cats and love all animals. My favorite outing is going to the zoo. Or a bookstore. I devour books.

PHILOSOPHY

No regrets; whatever you do - even if it goes horribly wrong - is a learning experience.
And if you really want something, waiting on the couch isn't going to make it happen. You have to get up... Go out... And make it happen!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into couchsurfing because of my sister. She has done a lot of traveling and discovered couchsurfing on the way. She was very enthusiastic about it and made me want to experience it as well.

I love meeting new people and getting to know more about the place I'm staying. You get a lot of helpful advice you can't find in the travel books and you get to experience the place as it really is - not just the touristy stuff.

Hosting other people has taught me to look at my home town with a different set of eyes and I learn something new every time.

Interests

I like to read and learn new things. I am very interested in the history of places I visit.

I like to experience different cultures; their food, clothes, art, way of life and most importantly it's people.
