About Me
Hi! I'm Estrella, from Lima, Peru
I'm currently traveling around Australia with my partner Joaquín, and we're excited to explore new places, meet kind people, and learn from different cultures. This year is all about discovering, connecting, and stepping out of our comfort zone.
We're both easygoing, respectful, and open-minded. I love sharing good conversations, cooking simple meals, and hearing about other people's lives and journeys. For us, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to sleep — it’s about exchanging experiences and making real human connections.
We’re super grateful for anyone who opens their home and heart to us during this adventure!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about more than just seeing places — it’s about connecting with people, sharing stories, and experiencing local life in a real and meaningful way.
We love the idea of cultural exchange — whether it’s sharing a meal, learning something new, or just chatting about life. We're not just looking for a place to stay, but for a chance to connect.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’ve always been a proud One Direction fan (I know — total fangirl energy). But over time, especially thanks to my boyfriend, I’ve started listening to a much wider variety of music.
He introduced me to classics like Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and José José (Spanish legend!), and bands like Radiohead, Los Enanitos Verdes (from Argentina), and of course, The Beatles. Now I love discovering new genres and artists from all over the world.
That said… One Direction will always have a special place in my heart
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I did something that had always been on my bucket list — I went skydiving!
Even though I’ve studied to become a pilot and I love adrenaline, skydiving was something that honestly scared me a little… but I knew I had to try it.
And I’m so glad I did — it was one of the most incredible and freeing experiences of my life. Jumping out of a plane was both terrifying and exciting, and it taught me that sometimes the best moments come right after we face our fears.
Now, I’m doing something else that brings me so much joy: traveling the world.
Even though I knew some people would question my decision to pause my career for a while, deep down I felt this was the perfect time to go on this adventure. I’m young, free, and still full of energy to explore, learn, and live unforgettable moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of Spanish (and some Peruvian slang if you're up for it ), share travel stories, and show you how to cook a few easy Latin dishes. I also love deep conversations and exchanging perspectives.
I’d love to learn more about other cultures, local traditions, and even simple things like how people live day to day in different places. I’m always curious and open to learning something new — whether it’s music, recipes, or random facts!
I can share my time, good vibes, laughs, and of course, help around the house if needed. I truly enjoy connecting with people and learning from each moment we share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, laughs, stories from Peru and my travels, and lots of positive energy! I'm happy to help around the house, cook something simple (Latin flavors included!), or teach a bit of Spanish if you're curious.
If you're into music, I can show you some of my favorite songs from Latin America.
Most of all, I can offer kindness, respect, and the intention to make your space feel appreciated while I’m there.
