About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm youthful, reliable, affectionate, receptive, calm and patient, shy in some things, not in others. Skilled in performance and creative arts, a good storyteller, good group facilitator, good singer. Devoted grandmother. Independent to a fault. Warm and friendly - perhaps difficult to get to know socially. Better at more leisurely relationships. Good at languages, and getting on with most people. Thoughtful and open-minded, considerate and supportive. Broad ranging cultural tastes. Not as conventional as I look.

Interests

I love singing and dancing, and engaging with people in creative activites. I love travelling and encountering different cultures, and can be very moved and affected by Language.
I love living in the wild countryside, and enjoy simple things - also a bit of razmatazz in the city now and again. I love food, especially in Greece.
I love the company of thoughtful and empathetic people, and sharing conversations, especially over food, or while walking.
My greatest concern at present is to understand how best to respond to the critical situation facing our Mother Earth at this moment, how personally to meet the economic-environmental urgeny in the most creative and effective way I can, without panic. I want to learn what I can from other people's understanding and wisdom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a thunderstorm circle the hills around Athens, while sitting on the top of Philopappos Hill.
Seeing a 'moonbow' one dark night, when black rain clouds parted over a bay in N. Wales.
Telling a story to my grandson one day, while walking: when the Rainbow King shook his head to make a rainbow - lo and behold, a real one suddenly appeared in the sky right before us.
