About Me
Hello,
I'm very friendly and I like to meet people from all over the world :-)
I was born in Hungary and grew up in Budapest, and I moved to Italy when I was 19. I lived on an organic farm for 15 years with my husband and our two children. Actually we live in a little village on the Appennini hills between Bologna and Florence. I like slow things to do as making a puzzle or doing handcraft or mosaics. However I like also sports (I practice yoga and karate and in winter I like skiing and ice-skating) and I love dancing!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Living on a farm doesn't allow you to travel a lot...Indeed for quite a long time it was impossible for us to leave our home for more than a few days. In this period it was the world visiting us through the stories of WWOOFers we've been hosting in our home :-) But our life has changed and now we have the possibility to travel a bit more. I think that couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet friendly people wherever I go :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite groups are The Beatles, Dire Straits, U2, Pink Floyd...and some Italian singers as Ligabue, De André and Guccini. I like reading novels and I love detective stories :-) As for the movies, I prefer simple films about human relationships, but I like also travel and gangster movies. Movies I like a lot are The Big Chill, Priscilla, The Sting, Brockebak Mountain, Thelma and Louise, as well as Italian and French comedies about everyday life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've quit my home city, Budapest and moved to Italy, where I settled down on an organic farm. Quite a big change :-) I lived there with my family for more than 15 years growing our own food in a sustainable way. The most amazing thing is that...I was a perfect city girl when I moved to the farm and I knew absolutely nothing about agriculture...
Teach, Learn, Share
Living in Italy of course means good food...Although I'm not a chef I've learned quite a lot about cooking, and I can teach you to bake pizza and I can show how to make real Bolognese sauce :-)
I'm open to learn anything related to the places I visit... I like playing cards or other pastime, and I'd love to learn any new game :-) Of course I can also explain you the rules of some Italian card game...
What I Can Share with Hosts
