Présentation
À propos de moi
Juhuuu, it's Eszter, born and raised in Budapest, lived one year in Poland, one in Salzburg, two in Greece and now on the road.
What drives me lately is finding alternatives to the 9-17 jobs, pressure of chasing money and instead living with a flow, closer to nature, closer to myself. I believe in sharing and exchanging what we have instead of piling it up (although I do pile some things sometimes temporarily - but then comes the spring cleanse and everything restarts. you know how it goes).
I'm learning how to be present and clear about the moments I live instead of distracting myself with different traps (has been sudoku, alcohol, movies, books, etc.)
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Of course, because I love to travel and see unknown places, make new friends and get closer to new cultures. As I see couchsurfing is about looking at places through locals' eyes and making friends on the go. Without that I could also just watch a YouTube video and stay at home.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Music. It's a hard topic and possibly impossible to describe my taste, but ai cannot go long without music. Some days I listen to Hungarian alter bands, balkan gipsy craziness, some days are dedicated to folk, blues, psytrance or jazz rap.
It doesn't get easier with books, I love reading since I was a kid (I guess it was nice to get lost in different worlds, now it happens in reality), but to mention a few, I like Bulgakov, Camus, Bolaño and Darvasi (he's a Hungarian author).
I can tell you I'm a big fan of fantasy, and I like Kustorica and Jim Jarmusch movies as well, not to mention Call me by your name, some Hungarian movies as On Body and Soul or Rossz versek.
In the past years periodically I had quite a lot of time to kill, so I watched many series (my absolut favourite is Last of us, but I also like the Peaky Blinders!!, the Fargo, Friends, Game of Thrones, Sense8, Black mirror, Please like me, Sharp objects, Outlander, etc.)
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
The most amazing thing that happened to me was living the dream in Greece in an eco-homestead and experiencing trust, love and care.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Cooking, painting, digging or imagining other realities brings me joy. Sometimes I forget about myself and hum and whistle around, and stick my tongue out when I concentrate.
I enjoy watching movies (mostly the ones that make me think), and contemporary literature so I can share my knowledge with you about Hungarian books, poets, movies, cool places, great and maybe hidden opportunities.
I have lived in eco-communities, so I can teach you some sustainable life-hacks, share my take on permaculture or help you with some DIY fixing around your house.
I'm also super-up for a good talk, but if you wanna teach me your favourite recipe, don't stop yourself (cooking, eating - same pot, brings people together)
I know a bunch of games and great team-building excercises, so if you are interested, let me know (ah, and btw I love to play boardgames, too)
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
If you are interested in Hungarian culture, I would be glad to tell you something about it, it always makes me very happy. I can garantuee you that we'll find something good for you (music, poems, movies, places, you name it). But I also like to talk about arts and theatre (any of them, and if you are also keen on them, maybe we can make something together) and food for sure. I'm in love with eating, so this topic is endless for me ;)
