I am Etai, a traveler from Israel.
In May 2019, I decided to travel for what was supposedly a 2 and a half months trip, I was wrong.

I went to a rainbow gathering in Georgia, where I met excatly the people I needed to meet at that time: Travelers, creative, living insperesions.

The travelers that I met reminded me of my dream, when I was 7 years old my parents bought my brother a map of the world, he didn't bother looking on it, but I couldn't help but spend much of my time looking at the map, wondering: "Whats up there? In this big, diverse world filled with many cultures with so many countries?".

5 years later, when I was 12, I started reading about every country I discovered exists in Wikipedia, trying to get as much information as possible about something I am part of but is much bigger than me, Humanity.

7 years later, when I found myself in that rainbow gathering in Georgia, the living insperesions, the travelers, reminded me of something which I almost forgot due to the way soceity is, they reminded me that I have the heart of a traveler since I remember myself.

With my heart having an open, clear intention, I travel without any hesitation, learning about humanity without a fear, knowing that everywhere in the planet there are kind people who are willing to help, teach, inspire and be inspired by the travelers on the road.

I'm on couchsurfing because I love meeting cultures up close, with many kind people willing to be generous with knowledge and kindness to the travelers on the road

Learning to let go of the reliance on money, realizing that I dont need anything matiralisticly in order to be happy and fulfilled with my life

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to talk about History and Geography, discussing how things became the way they are, and what they will become in the future, I will use another quote here "know where you came from and where you are heading".
By discussion, I can teach about some interesting facts about human history with the modest knowledge that I have, learning about new perspectives of different people and sharing awesome time with awesome people! which is the most important :)
