About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spreading positive energy and sharing beautiful experiences

ABOUT ME

We are plant loving, animal admiring, nature freaks that met at a music festival in Canterbury - England two and a half years ago and are now happily married and seeking wacky adventures. We love to sing, dance, smoke, drink, laugh and enjoy our short time on this beautiful planet. We love festivals, camping under the stars, live music, art and crafts, philosophy, sustainable living, married life, humanism, surfing, swaying and rambling. We're easy going and non-judgemental people who love to feel free and drive off into the sunset in our van.
JOSH: im newly married to my wonderful wife sophie and love every minute i get to spend with her..hmm im abit of a seed currently blowing from place to place not sure where to take root, yeah im a plant pervert, not in a sexual way might add but am totally addicted to getting upclose and personal with them, i spend my life surrounded by them they make me stop and take stock..i love to share smiles with strangers and kick the sea and watch the droplets fall, and snorkel chasing little fishes, spot shooting stars with friends. i love a beer for all different times of the year i love a chong, random improv sings getting tribal and stomping in the same spot for hours and hours carving up the ground with my bare feet and then exploring whats up and over the hill.
love to climb trees and make indian wobobobob sounds and whistle to birds and try to chat with the animals.
i love the feel i get from sliding open our van door and seeing a tottly different landscape,i love tea and coffee strong coffee and weird homemade alcohol especially cider.

SOPHIE: I studied visual arts and choreography at university in Devon, became an au pair in London, managed a deli in Salisbury, lived in a caravan by the sea in Kent, sang in a reggae band in Brighton, and am now wanting to take flight. I've had itchy feet for years (gyspy heritage) and am finally ready to hit the road with my partner in crime Josh. I love seahorses, snails and chameleons because they have spirals in them... I like looking at the stars in the sky because they're amazing wherever you are on the planet... I think singing is the best medicine, closely followed by laughter, cheese and spontaneous drumming... I want to see and feel as much as possible because life is too short to be halfhearted.. And I think it's time for a rainbow revolution. Also when I grow up I want to be a marine biologist, a singer, a leader of world music workshops in schools, a forensic psychologist, a nomad, a mother, and not too much of a grown up.

PHILOSOPHY

SOPHIE: 23. Also, "If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" - Alice (In Wonderland).
JOSH: its difficult to sum it up into a sentance but to me i reckon life is about sharing happpiness with others..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

JOSH: guess it depends in what im participating in?!but..
socially:ah i like to be silly, and get peoiple on to mind expansive chat things that boggle or bend the brain and bring about a childish sense of wonder, especially to those who never get to think on that plane.laughing lost in laughter is great when no-one knows whats going on..i like that..but yeah i join socially
Economically:yeah i work and vote pay my taxes and get annoyed at what they get spent on by the maniacs in control, still i find moneys best not to get too wrapped up in..you never have enough and it always goes when you think your getting closehaha
i like to participate in anything ill whip abit of what i can in when the time allows?!!
having re read what ive just written i figured the question probably reffered to how im involved in CS so far im yet to surf or host!
SOPHIE: What he said.
