Living the life, living for the moment. I try to keep myself busy with many and different activities. I like to be impulsive and unpredictable and take opportunities when they come. There is nothing sweeter than picking something to do and having the freedom to just say "heck yes, lets do it". Always up for an adventure ! This keeps me going. Of course this mindset comes with the price of not having a permanent job which I love because I haven't found anything yet which can keep my interest and attention for long. I have tried having an office job, but all I kept thinking about was --- "OMG it is sooooo sunny outside.....or alternatively....look at that powder, I could be doing a sick line on my snowboard down a slope, I don't want to be stuck in this office doing something that I see no value in". Better a rainy day on a hill, than a sunny one in the office. This kind of thinking can also be seen as problematic due to the fact that I've been offered many and different jobs but I never took them because I like my freedom too much. Many people judge me for it, but I don't really care. Once I find my passion and know what I really want to do, then I will definitely be happy and making a difference. Currently I live off my summer job as Bar and Events Manager at many of the most famous concerts, festivals and sports events in the UK. It allows me to work for 3-4 months a year (80 hour workweeks), make some money and then live off it until the next season. And believe me it is worth it. Who can say they have an 8 month holiday?
So far what keeps me going is my passion to travel, experience unique activities and get to meet and know interesting people. During my HoIiday Season, I windsurf in Turkey, snowboard in the French/Austrian/Swiss Alps and ride my motorcycle across Europe and in general try to visit as many places as possible. And couchsurfing immensely helps my goal of meeting new people in new and exciting places. At the end of the day, a smile counts more than Excel can account for, doesn't it? I believe that memories and experiences are more valuable than "things" and money. I would rather have a mind full with memories than pockets full of money. As Abraham Lincoln put it, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."

I am a very relaxed, flexible and positive person. I believe I am a citizen of the world. I believe we are all equal and that there shouldn't be borders, we were all born in the same place. I accept people the way they are, without judging, offending or hurting anyone. I do not care what your religion is as long as you do not hurt anyone. Everyone can believe in whatever they want to believe in. As my brother says, "You can rock your boat as much as you like, as long as you do not sink mine". I stay positive and open-minded :) Peace.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to meet new and interesting people - from different cultures, occupations, religious beliefs. I love this platform and the idea of people helping each other by providing not only accommodation but also knowledge. I mean, I could easily pitch my tent and not bother anyone with anything, I have done this many times. The reason I am on Couchsurfing is merely due to the fact that I want to meet people. It is all about sharing and giving. People who can share with me their stories and moments, the opportunity to find out about a place from the mouth of a local, more often than not a person that was born and raised in this location. I could read as much as I wish on Wikipedia and Tripadvisor, but most times the knowledge that I get from there will not compare to what a local can share with me and help em experience. I try to put myself in the shoes of someone who has never been to Sofia, Bulgaria (my hometown). How much can one find about the place, how much easier would it be if I were there to show them around, or even if i do not have the time or ability help them by giving them directions and hot places to visit? To me, Couchsurfing is not just a website, It is a platform which meets people, mixes lives and makes everything more colourful and interesting. I try to give as much as I get from it, it is only fair this way :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Music - mainly rock and roll, sometimes on the bit heavier side, but I also enjoy some country, pop, oldschool rap and electronic music. I listen to many and different ganres depending on my mood. It is complicated really. I really do not like it when people put themselves into one category and stay there as if they are not allowed to listen to anything else. If i like something, SNAP, that's it I just like it regardless of what anyone else thinks about it....and more often than not this would mean that I listen to one song for days :D Some bands/artists I listen to are: Eddie Vedder, Pearl Jam, Black Sabbath, Queen, Counting Crows, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Linkin Park, Pantera, Black Label Society, Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Ted Nugent, Chris Cristofferson, The Highwaymen, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis .... the list goes on and on and on :) I listen to a lot of music. Music has a huge meaning in my life.
I am not into mainstream Movies...I like the ones with a lot of meaning. Some of my favorite ones are : Point Break, Into the wild, American History X, Pearl Harbor, 12 Angry Men, Nevercry Wolf, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Godfather, western movies (especially Clint Eastwood ones). Another thing I like is documentaries and scientific movies as well as series such as That 70s Show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, How I Met Your Mother, FRIENDS, Narcos, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Big Bang Theory, Free to Choose. Finally, I am a big fan of TV channels such as National Geographic, Discovery, History Channel, Animal Planet.
On one hand I wish I could read more books. I like reading a good novel, however unless it really grabs me, I lose interest pretty easily. On the other hand, I read a loads articles and researches mainly on the topics of business and economics as well as some political papers from time to time. I keep myself informed with the day to day news. I love almost everything that Jack London has written and have read almost all of his works. I also like Hemingway, Henry David Thoreau, Alexandre Dumas, Karl May and John Krakauer. The Call of the Wild, White Fang, Burning Daylight, Martin Eden, Into the wild, Into thin Air, The Count of Monte Cristo, Winnetou are my favourites.

Lived for 1 year in the USA as foreign exchange student, studying in an American high-school and living with an American host-family.
Snowboarded at 108 km/h in a completely straight line, feeling my snowboard leave the ground at the small bumps.
Stayed under the falling waters of the Niagara Falls.
Windsurfed alongside dolphins in the Aegean sea off the coast of Gokceada Island in Turkey.
Was a swimming champion of Bulgaria.
Competed in a bodybuilding competition.
Jumped off of a 20 metre cliff into the sea.
Going Full Throttle on my motorcycle.
Virgin powder snowboarding at Markudjika skipiste in Borovets. Mist, Snow, Wind, Cold, 50cm new snow... alone with my brother at the peak. Complete senses overload. Cannot differentiate up from down. Feels like airborne flight.
Camp into the wild. Skinnydipping/Swimming in the "moonpath" light.
Saved a person's life.

What I want to try and learn: Ride a snowmobile, B.A.S.E. jump, Bungee jump, Skydive, Paraglide, Fly a Flysuit, Kitesurf, Hawaiian surf, Spend a winter month in Alaska, Visit all 7 continents, Start my own business, Start a Travel Vlog, Do drone Photography, Climb the highest peak in every country I visit, Go around the world on a motorcycle. Swim the English Channel and the Gibraltar.

Teach and Share: I am open to share my knowledge with anyone who asks me, or wants to know anything. I am not good at small talk, but I am good at listening, sharing, dreaming of adventures.

An inflatable bed, Couch, yoga mat + sleeping bag....it changes really. I move houses pretty often so it is pretty hard to guess what will be where, but I will always make my best to provide a place to sleep.
