About Me
Hi, my name is Ethan. Adventurer, writer, medical student, video maker, infinitely curious! Love meeting new people from different places and working towards making this a better world!
Currently living full-time in a self-converted campervan in Los Angeles!
Trying to learn Spanish! So if you speak Spanish, I would love to try to learn with you!
About me:
I grew up homeschooled on a farm in rural New Jersey. I then went on to college, where I studied psychology and English. One of my most meaningful experiences during college was studying in the UK. While in Europe, I backpacked for seven weeks on $30-40 a day (went to about ten different countries) and did a Workaway in Spain, which was the most incredible experience!
After graduating, I took a year to solo travel the country and work as a freelance journalist while living in a tiny, self-converted campervan. Some of my projects included writing about the juvenile justice system and the health of indigenous communities.
I love community building, meeting new people, and learning their stories. I also enjoy documenting my journeys and reflections through YouTube. Since the start of med school, I’ve been making weekly videos of my travels and my experience living full-time in a (slightly bigger) van. You’re welcome to check them out below :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wrote a children's book called Supermother Operation that is published in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. My friend Bruno and I decided to work on the book after discovering that Brazil is home to over twenty million single mothers and that few people had worked to address the situation. Both Bruno and I had experience with single mothers, Bruno having a single mother and my sister being one. Both of us recognized the struggle and sacrifices they have had to make for their children so we created a book to commemorate these mothers while teaching children how their mothers are superheroes.
