ABOUT ME

I'll keep this short. Reach out to get to know me beyond these pithy words, or let's meet on the road!

I grew up in the Philly area, I've been living in the Southwest since 2007 and I've called Santa Fe, New Mexico my home since 2012. My diverse experience on this planet includes award-winning journalism, social change activism and teaching.

I'm super cool, clean, friendly and interesting :-) Right now I'm in Colorado and planning a short trip to the East Coast from July 10, 2014 until the end of July when I'll return to New Mexico. I'm SEEKING a couch or room to surf in NEW YORK CITY during the week of July 10 to July 17. Then I'll be going to visit a friend in Vermont. My appreciation for your couchsurfing hospitality is bottomless!

I'm not new to Couchsurfing.org but starting this new account after being away from the site since 2010. Please reach out if you have any questions for me AND thanks a billion for all your amazing community responsiveness to my CS requests!

Interests

reading, writing, hiking, biking, cooking, growing food, eating the food that I grew and local organic deliciousness from other growers, teaching, always learning, and much more! But what really catches my interest is people taking action for a better world. I've been deeply engaged with activism for many years including the Occupy movement that famously got started in New York!
