ABOUT ME

Ten things you (really) don't want to know about me :

1. I rarely wash my hair, it's such a waste of time

2. My favorite hobby consists in observing and classifying the little habits of everyone, the things we always do without being aware of it

3. I divide humanity in two categories : conformists, and people who think that they are anticonformists (I am probably in the second category)

4. I mainly read dead writers and listen to dead musicians, don't know why

5. I am scared of death, but also of life

6. I possess a kind of 'Dorian Gray' portrait of me, on which I get fatter, and fatter, and fatter...

8. I think the Singularity and the Apocalypse are both near, but we still don't know which one will be the big winner

9. I dream that I meet myself, and it always becomes a nightmare at this point

10. Writing bothering lists is a consequence of the obsessional-side of my personality

Except one thing : I don't really like to describe myself by writing a little text, I think it can only mistake people about who I really am. I am not only a few lines of description, neither you, so if you want to know more about me, let's start a conversation :)

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy comes from Solid Snake, he really is my master. I learned so much from him when I was a teenager living between the computer, the T.V. and my beloved playstation.

More seriously, I think that us humans are a kind of big experiment and we are actually screwing it with so much heartless stupidity.
I am a sort of hopeful nihilist, if it's possible.
I live for the pleasure to live, I don't think there is anything after death, I assume all the answers to our questions are here right now, and we have to find them with our minds and science and not with the help of religion, politics or whatever.

I live my life to learn as much things as I can, I am interested in everything (litteraly, you can start talking about any subject with me, I'm always in it). I want to understand this world, how it works, from where it comes from. Maybe I'll never know, but I keep searching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already surfed couches with my boyfriend in Aberdeen and in London last year, and we will do it again this september in Finland and Estonia.
By this way we have met very nice and friendly people.

Books : Daniel Keyes, Dino Buzzati, Haruki Murakami, Philip K Dick, Greg Egan, Charles Bukowski, John Fante, George Orwell, Patrik Suskind, St Exupéry, Marcel Pagnol

Music : trip-hop, rock, funk, jazz... good music can be found everywhere. I especially enjoy bands mixing different styles of music (avant-garde music, as my MP3 says).

I usually appreciate everything with passion in it. Passion is the most important thing while watching a movie, reading a book, listening to music... I can't appreciate something which is not turning my heart and my head upside down.
