COMING UP TRAVELS:
December 8, 2009 - January 8, 2010 - Australia: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, *suggestions welcomed*
I think people are the most fascinating creatures in this world and am always up for meeting new people. Absolutely in love with traveling...and exploring new cultures and languages. I'm a daydreamer through and through, which may be problematic for my foreseeable profession...
PHILOSOPHY
It's better to believe than to disbelieve....in so doing you bring everything into the realm of possibility.
Tact is for People Who Aren't Witty Enough to be Sarcastic... ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a pretty diverse background and would like to communicate and learn from all the unique individuals around the world.
I'm a brutally honest, outgoing, often contradictory, occasionally sentimental, and always passionate person. If you can't stand the norm, we'd likely get along.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
surfed in London and all over Spain...fantastic experience, met so many great people, now I'm addicted and will never go back to hostels if possible!
Interests
Wandering endlessly, unexpected adventures, writing in coffeeshops, reading on the beach, rock climbing in flip flops, dancing all night, live jams and music, laughing so hard it hurts, nomihoudai kareoke, witty conversations, quirky people, discovering hauntingly beautiful art in strange cities, FILMS, oh and chai tea with close friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music...hard metal and country used to be the exception, but I saw the movie "Anvil - the story of Anvil" at the Dublin Film Festival which was one of the best documentary films I've seen, and so humanly funny and intriguing, and the music was awesome, so I digress. Never say never. I like it all.
LOVE DANCING! I prefer to dance to reggae, hip pop, and latin though. Although a really good house DJ will get me going alllll night long.
Films - is a passion of mine. It's impossible to list favorites, but Danny Boyle, Woody Allen, and Wong Kar Wai are favorite directors of mine. Current favorites: The Hurt Locker, Departures.
Literature - I read in both Chinese and English. My favorite author is Jin Yong, a Chinese writer of martial art novel series that span thousands of years of Chinese history, interconnected and intertwined. There are English translations but they are not nearly as good as the original. I don't have a particular favorite author in English, my taste is random and varies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I scuba dived on Christmas day in Thailand, off Phi Phi, without knowing how to swim - twice.
