I am a 21-year-old full-time journalist and translator from Moscow. After graduating as a teacher of English, I moved to Kyiv.

The thing that has been driving me through my life is passion. My love for languages made me choose English teaching as a career, and the video games hobby landed me a full-time job.

Things that like I doing the most in my spare time include reading, video games and socialising. To me, often times it's not about the activity but about the people you are spending time with.

I'd describe myself as an open-minded, hardworking and genuine person. A great sense of humour is something I have been credited for as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems to be a great way of following one passion that is yet to lead to any monetary gain - travelling. As I get older, more and more opportunities for going to new places present themselves, and Couchsurfing is a great fix for my social and adventurous callings.

Moreover, Couchsurfing is based on mutual help, and that is one of the things I've come to appreciate over the last few years. You help people and they help you - does it get any better?
