ABOUT ME

I'm studying history at San Diego State University with a minor on Border Studies. I was born in San Diego, CA but was raised in Tijuana, BC Mexico. Crossing the border has been a big part of my life since I was born. I work as a tutor at an elementary and high school level. I currently live in San Diego, CA at just fifteen minutes from the US-Mexican border.

I love traveling around the world while also meeting new faces, personalities, and perspectives. Couchsurfing helps me get away from the superficial motel/hotel services.

兴趣

I'm highly interested in the history and current study of urbanization. Urbanization has grab my attention because it is one of the main driving factors influencing our way of life, customs, health, culture, economy, and language. Also, I have fallen in love with Hip-Hop culture, music, and scholarship. I'm currently doing a research project on the history of Hip-Hop culture. Besides of all this, I love all types of music and researching its origins. My musical tastes range from the powerful and hypnotizing Cumbia to the highly influential classic rock. I love to watch movies and good TV shows. Casual trips to the beach are always a must in my normal days. Finally, I love crossing the San Diego-Tijuana border since there are always fun and interesting things to do on both sides of the border.
