Couchsurfing for me is not about expectations with your guests or your hosts. It shouldn't be done because you expect something in return. You should do it because you genuinely want to meet someone, have a good time, good manners and respect each other's boundaries.

I am passionate about traveling, I enjoy every second of it and I think that is what made my horizons so broad and my mind so open to the world... I think traveling is the greatest learning experience of all and can help you in so many areas of life.

Generally speaking, I prefer not to host people that are coming for business or job interviews; for me, that is not what CouchSurfing is about. I have a roommate and prefer to host for shorter periods.
