About Me

My friends tell me that I am a nice, easy to live and open minding person. Thus I imagine that it must be true :-)

Sometimes, people can describe me as quiet. But I think that I just appreciate to take my time to discover and care about new people.

For a more personal point of view, I have traveled in dozen of countries and have made several jobs thus I really think I am an adaptable and open minding person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and sometimes I am traveling alone. I think that couch surfing is the best way to meet people and culture from the country that you are visiting.

I think couchsurfing is a different perception from a travel just in hostels. (I have nothing against hostels, I used to book them a lot when I was younger :-). But all around the world with hostels it is so similar. Paris, Barcelona, Tokyo, Sydney... the decor is spinning but it is always cool and nice young people from Europe or US travelling. Thus this is a (good) experience but not really traveling abroad.

That is the reason why I like couchsurfing.

Interests

Cinema, history of art, party, classical and electro music, philosophy, cooking (especially cupcake), walking in the streets of a new city at the dusk.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is always difficult to sum up all in few things.

For books I would take: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky.

If I needed to take just one movie for the rest of my life on a desert island: All movies from Stanley Kubrick

If the Louvres Museum is burning: I will take juste one painting, the closest to the exit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bet to run a marathon when I was drunk and actually run a marathon one month later.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Benin, Canada, Hungary, Italy, Lesotho, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark, France, Germany, South Africa, United States
