About Me

Hi, my name is Ettore, I'm from Turin, Italy but I am currently in France for 3 years, pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering. I consider myself to be a fun, out-going, extrovert person, I like making new friends and meeting new people, especially if they're from another country. My parents made me fall in love with traveling since I was very little, I saw a lot of countries and continents with them when I was a child. Then, I kept on traveling with my friends and in the future I'd like to try a journey alone: just me, my backpack, and all the people I can meet on the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like traveling and meeting new people; I think couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to visit cities with tips from people that actually live there, and lets you see and live the city with their perspective. Locals are always better than guides!

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything from classical music to modern, pop, hip hop, electro swing, jazz, techno.... I'm quite open with respect to music of any kinds really.
The Best Offer, Being John Malkovich, American Beauty, Dead Poets Society, Fight Club, these are just the first that come in mind, but there are lots and lots of others. I watch a lot of movies but I don't read much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a construction crane with a friend one time and then almost get caught by police! That was a crazy one, really :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I always like to share my opinions about the world in general, and I love meeting people with new perspectives that can make me question my point of view. What can I teach? Well, I'm also a musician, so maybe a bit of music theory?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell lots of stories from my journeys and about my city, Turin, and obviously since I'm Italian I can always bring some delicious pasta and some good wine for my hosts!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Libya, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
