About Me

Hey! I’m Eugene, 28, cybersecurity guy by day at a bank, total free spirit by night.
Love meeting new people, deep conversations that go nowhere and everywhere, loud music, quiet sunsets, and anything that feels real.

New to Couchsurfing but already hooked on the idea of turning my empty private guest room into stories, laughs, and random adventures with cool humans. You get your own lockable room, we share the kitchen, living room, balcony, and whatever vibe the night brings.

I’m all about chill, open-minded, fun energy: solo female travelers who are fearless and curious, couples who are down for late-night street food runs, or anyone who can hold a conversation over a cold beer. 420 friendly.

I’m also a certified masseur, so if you’ve had a long day exploring, I can help you unwind. I’m learning yoga too, so maybe we can practice or learn together!

Other random things I’m into:

Photography: portraits, silhouettes, golden-hour street shots, moody low-light stuff. Always carry a camera and love shooting my guests if they’re up for it (professional-looking pics for your Insta, no charge, just good vibes).
Learning new yoga poses (still a beginner, so we can look stupid together)
Movies + beer combos
Cooking simple meals (or burning them while we laugh)
Long walks that turn into 3 a.m. talks
Giving killer massages (certified masseur): travel knots, tight shoulders, full-body relaxation, whatever you need after a long day

If you’re respectful, easygoing, love to laugh, smoke, shoot photos, or just crash hard after exploring, we’ll click instantly. Bring good energy and an open mind; everything else falls into place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Tired of boring evenings and small talk. My extra room is just collecting dust when it could be filled with travelers who actually have stories to tell.

I’m here for the solo girl who’s brave enough to surf a stranger’s place in Colombo, the couple who wants a local friend to hit hidden bars with, or anyone who’s down to blaze on the balcony, let me take some fire portraits at sunset, swap travel hacks, share a joint and a Lion beer, maybe get a proper massage to melt the day away.

It’s never just a free room. It’s late-night deep talks, random photo walks, cooking disasters, new yoga fails, and memories we’ll both still laugh about years later.

For me, this is about swapping cultures, learning a new phrase or yoga move, and giving you a proper home base while you explore the city. If you’re respectful, fun, and up for genuine exchange, I’m here to make your stay feel like more than just a free room. Let’s create stories worth retelling.

If that sounds like your kind of stay, hit me up. Let’s make this trip memorable! 🍻

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring new things and living life.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I can teach you:

Real Colombo street-smarts: the cheapest tuk-tuks, hidden beach bars, night street-food spots tourists never find, how not to get ripped off
Basic Sinhala & Tamil phrases that actually work (plus the ones nobody teaches you)
Professional portrait photography: lighting tricks, posing, editing on your phone – leave with fire shots for your feed
Full-body relaxation massage techniques (I’ll teach you moves you can use on someone back home)
Easy Sri Lankan home cooking: coconut sambol, Dhall curry, Chicken curry
Beginner yoga flows & breathing that actually calm you down after a chaotic travel day

What I’d love to learn from you:

Anything from your country: a recipe, a card trick, a playlist, a weird tradition, how to swear properly in your language
New yoga poses or stretches (I’m still a noob, show me up)
Photo editing hacks, Lightroom presets, or how you get those film looks
Your best travel stories, dating disasters, life wisdom while we smoke on the balcony
Literally whatever random skill you have – I’m a sponge

What I’m happy to share:

My balcony with cold beer and whatever you’re smoking
My camera & lenses for portraits, golden-hour shoots, or night street photography missions
My massage table + oils (full sessions or just shoulders/neck if you’re shy)
Netflix, fast Wi-Fi
My kitchen at any hour (ingredients, spices, or I’ll cook for you)
Power bank, adapters, whatever you forgot
Late-night deep talks that fix your soul
My city – I’ll be your free private guide if we vibe
