Currently a full-time university undergraduate in a bustling metropolis, yet tiny island of Singapore. Whilst on the chase for my degree, I'm looking for as many opportunities as possible to travel the world and make new friends before I begin my working life! My interest and passion will forever be the humanities.

My dream is have a job that requires me to travel the world and meet new people. Also, as long as it involves good coffee wherever I go, all is well in the world. In addition, I'l love to have my own farm someday, growing delicious coffee and to travel around the coffee belt learning as much as I can about coffee. Maybe someday I'll achieve all that, maybe I won't. As long I live everyday knowing I did my best, all is well in the world. With perhaps a touch of latte spicing things up daily.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a stereotypical Asian, we're brought up kinda sheltered and protected by our "overprotective" parents that's portrayed by the general media. As much as I'll like to disagree with such broad sweeping statements, most of it is unfortunately true. However, there are always outliers to events as such and I'll like to say I'm belong to it!

Through Couchsurfing, I hope I'll be able to get out of my comfort zone to meet more people and make more friends from around the world. As the saying goes "The world is your oyster, go forth!" It's indeed time to venture out and well, surf ahead!

Would really love cycle around the world in the future, to visit the famous alps that the Tour-de-France passes and the beautiful manufactures of the bikes used by the pro-teams!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Australia.

One of the best moments of my life descending from 15,000ft and free-falling for more than 30s. Exhilarating experience and not a single moment of regret, except that it was over so quickly!

Teach, Learn, Share

Even though I'm doing a Degree in Finance, I'm actually very passionate and interested in the Humanities and History it is one of my majors in High School. In my free time, I like to catch up on history related articles and occasionally, a good literature work.

I would love to share my experience living in bilingual society and to dispel any myths and stories surrounding the strict living of the Singaporean city. Also, I would love to teach Mandarin to my hosts and fellow surfers should we have the chance to meet and interact!

Hoping to learn as much as I can whilst travelling and through the experience, deepen my self understanding and become a better person as a whole. Picked up learning German and a little Spanish recently, maybe in time I'll get better and become fluent in it! Would really love if fellow surfers or hosts are able to teach me!
