I was born in Mendoza, where the best argentinian red wine is produced, but I´ve been living in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, for the last 20 years.

When I was an adolescent, I lived for a year in central África -Malabo, Equatorial Guinea- because my mother worked for the United Nations. That was one of the most amazing experiences in my life and it triggered my interests to know different cultures.

Before being a mother I traveled around Latin American countries several times, discovering incredible places like the bolivian amazonia, the caribbean beaches or the patagonian lakes and mountains.

When my son was a little child we spent 3 months in Australia, where he attended a local school and learnt some english. My father migrated from Argentina to Australia 30 years ago, so, in a way, I became familiar with the australian culture.

We are now embarking a new adventure, we are travelling again to Australia, but first we will spend some days, for the first time, in Auckland, New Zeland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are going to visit New Zeland for the first time, and since we would like to have more interaction with locals, we thought that doing couchsurfing was a funny way to meet local people.
