I was born and raised in Mexico until I went to Sweden (for an exchange program).
From there, nothing was the same, I had to keep moving, so I worked as a volunteer in Italy (FAO), after that I went to study to the UK (masters and Ph.D.), and finally moved to the US for work (World Bank).

My husband loves sports, eating good food and also cooking.
After a few years working, my husband and I decided to quit our jobs, sell everything we had and just start traveling.

We've been doing it for over a year and we love it! We have used Couchsurfing in a few places and keep getting amazed at how great it is to meet people from all over the world and share our own cultures and experiences.

I love the fact that Couchsurfing shows how people can trust each other even if you've never met before.
Also, after traveling for a bit more than a year with my husband, we realized that staying with someone else adds so much to the experience, as we get to share and learn from new people that become good friends.
