i'm here seeking for the real part of travelling, the one that hotels cannot give you, i want to see how people live their city, so that i can get a closer look to its culture.

most of my time is dedicated to arts, be it musical, visual, theatrical or cinema. bothways by creating it or benefiting from it, i like to spend my days in contact with the cultural life of my city and the places i visit. when i can i travel by hiking, even abroad. i frequently organise vegetarian dinners at home, i enjoy good italian kitchen and when i travel i allways get note of traditional vegetarian recipes from that country. i like to plat board games, yeiii!

The Residents are my favourite band, but i am really into italian novelle vogue of electroacustic music, occult psychedelia and USA's harsh noise from the years 2000. experimental rock in other words..

i am a real movie seeker and watch loads of them. i am very interested in György Pálfi's ways of narrating stories, Bill Plympton's animations and Lars Von Trier's full filmology. I love star wars too... American Horror Story is my current series (horror and wierd are great genres).

i used to read lots of music and art book, but in the past years i fell in love with magic realism (Landolfi, Savinio, Delfini, Bontempelli...), decadentism (Huysmans) and Mishima and Genet. In poetry i read Apollinaire and italian futurism.

hiking in Crete was awsome, i'll never forget the feeling of climbing down the white moutains through its gorges into the sea, six days in tent in the best spots we could find.. incredible!

FOOD! as i said i am really into coocking (only vegetarian though) and i love to share my recipes, my grandmother is from sicily so i have to keep up with the improvement.
Also i am quite intereseted in the history of the places where i live so i can give good hints on what to visit, and it'd be a pleasure for me to take you there and explain what i can!
