ABOUT ME

God, I hate descriptions. Don't like reducing myself to a punchy slogan :) There you go, so I'm a grouch - no really I'm a pretty easy going and sociable. I'm into a whole bunch of things including reading, travelling (but of course), painting/modern art/comic art, clubbing, quirky bars, restaurants, music - especially world, punk, jazz and electro. When I travel, I'd rather spend time in one place getting to know the locals, and walking the streets rather than trying to take in as many museums as possible and get cute shots.

I've had a lot of backpackers stay at my place. People I'd met along the way, friends and friends of friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on a lot of courches over my years of travelling. Never actually did it through a website though, so this is a new experience for me. I genuinely love travellers and love having people over at my place in Oz too.
