ABOUT ME

I consider myself a pilgrim, living each day the better I can. I'm Brazilian and I've been living in Japan for about 5 years, my beloved wife and daughter live with me and we have lots of fun together. I'm all about outdoors and love traveling, though I still have a myriad of places to visit. Well, this is me, pretty easygoing, always happy, adventurous and enjoying life.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm very aware that life on earth is short, but I believe that after death life still continues, so I really care about having a spiritual conscience, therefore I'm simply a pilgrim.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Curiously, I knew of this community through a lonely planet guide while planning a trip to Europe. So you can expect me to drop by your place someday. hehe Also you can count on my place to visit the surroundings of Ishikawa. I'm also very excited telling friends about this cool project!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to some places but I remind about a visit to a couple I made friends with while they were traveling in my hometown. It was very funny because they couldn't believe I was going there when I called them. They were living in Denver - Colorado. My friend Bryan took me to a glacier - it was summer - and I was so excited to see snow for the first time in my life that I hiked so quickly making it hard for him to follow me. And at night their 3 cats were keen to enter the room I was sleeping at, so they used to spend a long time scratching the door and I had to give up and let them enter and join me in bed. It was a nice experience!!!

I'm not so into movies because it's hard for me to stay about 2 hours watching a movie, a time that I could use to be outside. Anyway, I've watched lots of good and inspiring stuff. I like music, my life is musical so it's hard to tell what I don't like. I don't read novels so much, but I like listening about people's perspectives.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done many risky and crazy things, but now that I have a wife and a daughter so I had to slow down my speed. lol I've driven from Brazil to Venezuela, a bit more that 3,000 km to enjoy holidays within 3 days. I also have driven in Thailand without any problem, just like they drive. hehe In Japan, I've climbed Mount Fuji, Tateyama and Hakusan, 3 Japanese sacred mountains. And I also faced Tsurugidake to the summit, one of the most dangerous mountais in Japan.
