ABOUT ME

I'm easy-going. I love to think positively and prefer to believe that tomorrow will be better.

I love to explore and experience new places, cultures, thoughts etc. Interacting with people from different backgrounds and places really widen my world view, providing new perspectives and help me grow as a person. I am a big foodie! I like to try food from different regions. I'm open to try new things/ adventures as long as it doesn't harm, realising life is short. I'm quite open-minded so you can be straight forward with me. My Myers-Briggs personality type: INTP (I find the description is quite accurate of me)

I used to do quite a bit of travel and couchsurfing but not as much for the past few years, and now I would like to start again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to know CS through my friend. We backpacked to Hong Kong and got to meet up with his CS friends there. My friend also hosts couchsurfers sometimes. I then found out that couchsurfing.com is a very good platform for people who love to travel or meet people around the world, like me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Time flies and I've been on CS for 10 years now! (Feeling old 😅) I've been using couchsurfing to meet local people when travelling and I like the experience. It's good to know about the life and culture of locals by interacting with them rather than only visiting the famous tourist places. I have also hosted/ met couchsurfers in my hometown. Looking forward to host more in near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on a horse for 6 hours below zero degrees crossing mountains (after only learning to ride for 5 min)

Teach, Learn, Share

I might be able to share a little about language, things related to my field (health), caligraphy, pole fitness, simple cooking, discussing life philosophy or anything I know.
Willing to learn anything new :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking, cultural exchange, art like flower art/ macrame, teaching some pole fitness if you have a pole or pole-like tool 😄
