About Me

Hey 👋
Call me Rae. I’m a pianist and meditation instructor from S. Korea. I’ve been teaching music for over 10 years and started my meditation session focusing in 7chakra activating in 2025.

The Cs community means a lot to me. I’ve made many good friends here who have helped me see how beautiful and fun the world can be🌏 It’s amazing that the friendships I’ve made here have lasted almost 10 years.

I’d love to hang out with people who’s passionate talking about meditation, music&art and business.

Books
‘How to do the work’ by Nicole de lepera,
It’s a psychology book discussing how childhood traumas affect adulthood. It helped me so much that I translated each chapter into Korean for my vlog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played piano in Europe (Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague).
I encountered a movie director and made musician friends, but if I had to pick the most memorable and amazing experience, it would be in Prague. There was an old man, limping, who walked towards me, sat beside the piano I was playing, and listened to all my music. He stood up after I finished playing and thanked me so much. I can’t forget his gentle, appreciative eyes and warm handshake..

Teach, Learn, Share

I live in Ilsan, Korea. It has a big serene park(Ilsan lake park) and Goyang art center. If you want to see other city aside from Seoul, I can show you around.
For hosting, I can do 2nights maximum for now :)
(I have a cat 🐈)

*Couchsurfing is NOT for free stays&free tour….
You need to contribute your talent, skills or make your country’s food & small gestures in return. So many people message me, expecting to get everything for free🥲 I won’t respond these. Please be respectful🙏🏻

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make Korean food for you and teach you how to make it as well. I’ve been offering Korean dishes to my Cs hosts in Europe and my friends abroad 😊 (such as Gimbap, Kimchi soup, Spicy fried pork, Bibimbap, Miso soup, Tteokbokki, Chicken soup, etc.) One of my British friends even mastered Kimchi soup haha.
