Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

offer what I have, take only what i need (and that is not much). clap while in the audience, storm while on the stage.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

always did this with friends...now they have a name and a network for it. CS was cooler when it was younger, but alas, all things that are born, tend to get more complicated.

Interests

Easier to say what I am not interested in: Arrogance, lies, selfishness, lack of empathy, mediocrity, people that can't laugh at themselves or forgive others for non-maliscious perjoratives.

Music, Movies, and Books

last book: the essential arabic (thick as a brick). Good books? Scar Tissue, Open by A.Aggassi, Plato and Platypus Walk into a Bar, Animal Farm, Dr. Tatiana's 7-Sex at Dawn, 7-Day Weekend, Sex Advice for All Creation, To Kill a Mockingbird, Six Not So Easy Pieces, The Tao of Surfing, Blessed, the Tao of Warren Buffet. I try to avoid TV as much as possibly. music? yes. dance. yes. movies? the indies can be a better experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

fat people on the run. one legged salsa dancers tearing it up some. thin girls trying to put on a kilo, dogs that love us so much they won´t steal. eaten all kinds of spooky good foods; love that redeeming feeling of salvation given when at last we emerge lost from the woods. as we get older, we learn, rather relearn how to better to trust our 'onsezi´ (our sixth sense) beaten down from most formal training. That sixth sense which was so keen and ready when we were attentive and clean-slate babies.

is there any other better way to learn than with people who know how to work and play, and who return the favor without questioning the offer.
