Currently I'm doing a interrail through Europe, so I cannot host anyone, sorry...

I'm a french volunteer in Germany in a school with children with disabilities. I made this gap year to learn about myself and enjoy the time I had. My motto is to take every opportunity that comes my way ! After this gap year I'd like to continue my studies to become a primary school teacher.
I'm quite a positive person, I always try to see the good in people and in the bad things that happen to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people of course ! I think it's the most interesting way of travelling, it's a whole experience. I didn't have the opportunity to host someone or be hosted so far, because I didn't know this concept before... I always lived with flatmates so sharing a flat/a meal are not a problem for me ! I'm looking forward to do it !

Interests

Since my childhood I play an instrument, I started playing oboe when I was 7, and 6 years ago I started playing piano. If you have sheet to share, I'm the person to share them with 😄
I love reading especially historical novels such as the Ken Follet's books.
I'm quite sportive also, I swim since I'm 6 or 7 years old. During 8 years, my sport was synchronised swimming, and I loved it ! I decided to stop it to prepare a lifeguard diploma. This diploma allows me to survey swimming pools, lacs or the sea during summer for example.
During the different lockdowns I learned how to sew with my sister and my mom and I discovered a passion for sewing. I sewn some clothes, accessories, bags,... I'm still a beginner but I love it, I can easily spend a whole day sewing 🙈
Last year, I developed a passion for photography and since I cannot travel without my camera 😄
My latest passion (and not the least) is to cook (and to eat of course), I'm 99% vegetarian since 3 years now and I love discovering new recipes, sharing mine or cooking for my family or my flatmates.

I'm quite into ecology, and I'm doing the best I can do for our planet. One thing that drives me crazy is when someone trow his cigarette on the ground when there is a trash 3 meters away... I can't stand fast fashion also, so it you know some nice second hand shop, I'd be very interested ! 😄
