ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Eugenie, from Brittany in France, where they eat crepes and drink apple cider!
I have moved around a bit and lived in several cities in France, Europe (Switzerland & the Netherlands) and the US.
I am always curious to discover new cultures through locals and most especially through their foods.
I discovered La Poutine (Fries with gravy and cheese) in Quebec, Canada, which I often still crave for after a night out. I ate chicken feet while in Taiwan which was probably not the weirdest thing I tried then, I had Chile candies in Mexico, Spaetzle in Germany, Boulet Frites in Brussels, and much more. For the past couple of years, I have been leaving in the Netherlands, where I have been enjoying their famous crockets!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in Montreal, Quebec where we spent an afternoon, together with my host, making ice to feel like snow (in the middle of the summer) so I could try 'tire dans la neige' ('taffy in the snow') a maple sirup lollypop which they make in the 'cabanes a sucre' during winter.
